A/C nearly gone on 02 Mondeo

Hi All, I have 02 LX Petrol Mondeo. The A/C is running a bit low (air coming out is luke warm at best). What is the best way to get this fixed. Do I need a refill? Can I do it myself or do I need a garage to do it? Any help would be appreciated.

Probab;y just needs a refill.

have experience with http://www.carairconditioning.ie/ and they're good.
