I dropped out when I went first which was 7 years ago! I know what you mean about the time table! if i had anytime of at all I went to the bar or into town and never came back for classes!!

I had to wait until I was 22 to go back so I was mature enough not to miss classes :D The key to passing is to miss as little class as possible but the hard part is being motivated to go to class!!

If I were you I'd take a year out and maybe give it a shot again cos like you I liked the course, I took 4 years out (a bit excessive) and went back, now I have a degree!! :D

im gonna take a year out this year, ive been doin advanced diploma in IT since i left, just finished there in may. so im gonna work for 7 months, travel for 2 or 3 and weigh up my options then, thinking of doing networking. but yeah im still a socialiser so iff i had a choice of goin to economics or trying my luck with a few girls in the bar, i think i know what id be doin :D

I dropped out in Febuary. Working full time is depressing, be prepared for it, so 6 months out and I'll already be back, grand!

I was lucky in that I could just go home if we had some time off so I didn't really go the the pub that much.

yeh when i went back i got a house in college heights so i could just go home for the few hours between classes and could go back up to the college after normal hours to do work, and also had the option to go drinking whenever i found the time, worked out great

Dkit dropput here too, as mentioned before the timetable sucked big time, managed two years and packed it in. Working full time now in lab management and have bought my own apartment and car, so dropping out has been good to me!!:D
