Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Cairns to Sydney

    Hey

    My self and my girlfriend are planning on travelling at the end of November. We are trying to plan as best as we can as time is a bit tight. One part of our journey is from Cairns to Sydney, this is what we are stuck on!! We don’t know how much time to give ourselves. We were thinking about 4 weeks as we are planning to be in Sydney for Xmas/New year. Has anyone any comments?? Also has anyone done this journey with the Oz Experience?

    Not with Oz experience but check my travel blog. Definitly possible in four weeks. Any more questions and I'll get back to them while I can. Sorry I dont have time for more now.

    just back last week in fact. Took the Greyhound. Everyone i spoke to said Aus experience was pretty good, But it seems the Greyhound was more flexible and had a better timetable. 4 weeks is enought time. Quality Trip make sure you hit 1770. 1770 backpackers to be exact. Great people, chilled out place!

    oh and i would eliminate magnetic island and coffs harbour.. Not good. Just plain not good :)

    I'm doing Sydney - Cairns in 3 weeks with Wanderers Travel

    I'm doing the Beast of the East. It can be done in reverse also.

    It takes 3 weeks, but there's longer/shorter available.

    And use Greyhound. A friend of mine did a year in Oz and said they're way better for only a little bit more money.
