Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi folks,
My laptop screen is no longer starting up in widescreen. It looks as though the screen size is only 14" when the actual screen size should be 15". There is a black border either side.

Any ideas what might have caused this and how I can fix it?

It sounds like you are not using the right resolution for the panel anymore. You may tell us what the make & model of the laptop is. Are you running XP or Vista?

Its a Dell Inspiron 1300 Celeron running XP. Ive checked the screen resolution but no matter what I make it the black border on the screen wont go away.

Strange. I reckon it should be using 1280 x 800. Is that one of the options when you change the res?

Yeah, Ive it set to that option and it works fine. But the black border is still around the screen.

    Very strange indeed.

<Fn><F8> Cycles the video image to the next display option. The options include the integrated display, an external monitor, and both displays simultaneously. Try hitting that combination a few times...
