Hen Weekend in Waterford city

Hi, going on a hen soon to Waterford city, hitting pubs/clubs (maybe the dogs) at night, but looking for an alternative to sitting in the pub all day....anybody recommend things to do during the day in your fine city - thanks a mill... Hen is in August by the way.
