People seem to have found the thread disproportionately funny. I can why you'd find it funny but thread of the year etc?

I would like to return to Boards anonymity.

I'll be at the Eason on Lower O'Connell Street signing copies of the thread tomorrow morning from 11am - 12 midday. I would advise you all to get there early.

    Story just up on breakingnews.ie

Apparently a girl has gone missing in the Galway/Roscommon region. Last seen getting a backer from an unidentified male.

Certainly sir. Last night I drunkenly started an innocent but ill advised thread about a girl whose photo was online onn the BBC website giving her views on the Lisbon Treaty. I really just meant to say that she was good looking etc, but in reality I came across as a stalker.

I was then utterly owned by the nocturnal Boardsies.

Ach tis only a bit of craic. It is crazy how the loopy juice can make some things seem like good ideas.

When I first woke up I didn't remember about the thread as I was as rough as f**k and needed to get into work - bear in mind my last post was at like 4.15am when I finally went to bed. It was just as I was getting dressed that I remembered what had went on only a matter of hours earlier and I remembered the throrough slagging that I had received.

    My sentiments also.
I dont see what the fuss was about. I'd rather have the 5-8mins i spent reading 12 pages of drivel back tbh.

if you found it to be drivel why the hell did you read the full thing.

Stop saying you were drunk, you clearly weren't.

Well, it's official, Dudess turned 30 and is now a dry shíte. You could have just deleted the comments on her appearance, or gotten rid of the picture but deleting such a good thread is just ridiculous.

The moment from reading the thread where the **** hit the fan is when we dug up a thread you made in the Galway county section asking for advice on B & Bs. The lady in question was in Galway at the time of the said article.

If I was sober do you not think I would have had the good sense to go to bed before 4am or whatever it was, given the fact that I had to be in work this morning for 9.00am? Come on now, look at the facts.
