That is a very nice bike indeed, you will have to change your username. Saw it up on the images of beauty thread before but worth a post to fawn over all by itself ;-) Did those skewers come with the wheels or are they aftermarket?

    Cheers

Came with the wheels. Took a chance and ordered them on e-bay

Very happy with them so far , not sure what to do if I have a warranty claim though

I hear if you take the decals off the wheels you can save another 50 grams or so.

didn't get enough love in the "images of beauty" thread ay?

fair enough. this bike is deffo worth a thread o fits own. it's a stunner, i love the cluster at the top-tube/seat-tube/seat-stays, is that made of aluminium? is that a compact chainset?

but dude - you know how much your bartape weighs? i really don't know what to say to that...

  • Registered Users Posts: 221 ✭✭Needabike

Time pedals a bit stiffer than look ,,,,but I hate the look squeak

    Frame is aluminium

    Compact Chainset

Off for the past week with a back injury....can't wait to get back on the bike

    Cheers for the compliments

    You've got me thinking buachaill

Would probably accept just over 2k for it.

So I suppose it is for sale if the right offer comes along

Ooh, I think I'd be sore seeing a self-build as nice as that roll away from me.

Good luck with the sale, hopefully you find someone to take the plunge!

Just wondering where you got the wheels, Are they clinchers or tubs?

    Cheers,

    Great looking bike!

When I hear you mention a back injury though, what jumped out at me from the picture was that you've got the stem angled down. Depending on what sort of injury it is, might it ease your recovery to temporarily flip the stem around?

    Cheers Cantalach

Back injury is a trapped nerve at the base of the spine , one more visit to the physio and she tells me I'll be back on the bike.

The bike is set up exactly as my previous , saddle to Handlebar drop is just less than 2 inches , angle of the shot might be exaggerating this
