Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Help set a World Record!

...and save yourself from Internet Explorer!
On Wednesday, Mozilla announced next Tuesday, June 17, as "Download Day" for Firefox 3. The company also released Firefox 3 release candidate 3 as a final step toward full release.

With Firefox 3, Mozilla is attempting to set a Guinness Book of World Records for the largest number of software downloads within a 24-hour period. There is currently no Guinness Book record for that accomplishment.

Firefox 3 includes a new rendering engine, so pages load faster. It also uses fewer system resources, addressing a complaint in earlier versions.
On this week's Security Bites podcast, I spoke with Johnathan Nightengale, Mozilla's "human shield," about the security features within Firefox 3, including its antimalware protection and support for Extended Verification SSL.

The current Firefox 3 release candidate, version 3, can be downloaded for Windows, Portable, Mac, and Linux systems.

I use both, probably IE more tho. The one thing I prefer in IE is the tabbed browsing, especially the new-tab dealy. Very handy..

Might there be a add-on for FF to make it's tabbed browsing more like IE7s..??

eh I'm currently using FF3 and I have to say I'm not that pushed, after downloading opera earlier I have to say I think it is a lot nicer and quicker, (however I can't view boards on it properly due to the menu's not working so still have to use FF for that)

You lost me at microsoft: I like Vista.

In Firefox, double click on that same space where the newtab button is in IE: works the same.

I used to laugh at FF Fanboys.... Then I tryed it. Never looked back since. Makes versions of IE prior to 7 look like giant peices of turd, and even IE 7 is miles behind, although it is a marked improvment on previous versions[perhaps because they stole numourous features from firefox?].

Indeed, I use Firefox myself, but I don't go on about it like it's better than jebus or some type of movement.
