The newest synthetic sealants are fantastic once all the prep is done, you just wipe them on and that's it. They have the same viscosity as water, so no elbow grease required, just wipe them on and after they have dried out, there is no residue left behind afterwards to wipe off. Makes life much easier.:D

Can you give an example of one or more of this product ??
    sounds interesting

The first link there, the A1 Ultra Minute Wax also includes the polish to prep the paint. It is about e20 quid on its own for just the wax. Otherwise the next three links Optimum Opti-Seal, Ultima Paint Guard Plus or Zaino Clear-Seal need to be applied to perfect paint. Polished beforehand at the very least. These can also be applied over other products but best using the brands own cleaning or polishing products first.

The A1 stuff is the most reasonable and easiest to work with and gives a really good look for the money. The Optimum Opti-Seal is also very good value and gives a great look as well once all the prep work is done first. Zaino is a bit complex to be honest as mixing their main products with cure additives is a bit much for most people unless they just use their ZAIO polish instead. Then seal with Clear-Seal. The Ultima is also an excellent sealant but again once all the prep work is done first and it is expensive. Needs a few coats 12 hours apart to look its best and if you do not apply it extremely thinly it will smear.

Most waxes except for say Big White Marine, Collinite or the really expensive Zymol or Swissvax ones are shot within 2 months. Sealants last 2 to 3 times longer and then some. For a glossy look, UV protection and real world durability sealants are best.

And if you top a sealant with a wax like collinite, lasts even longer.

I use chemical guys jetseal topped with collinite 476s for the winter months.

    Hmm,
Why would these give better results on my Black metalic car than the stuff I already use? Currently using Harly Wax. YES Before anyone jumps in and says Wax doest clean ~ I already know that but it is a new car that i bought in February and has been cleaned on nearly a daily basis since because of the dusty area I live in. :(
