Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Am building own house and blocklayer laying blocks from 1st floor to roof level. I have bay window to front and sun room to back. Will be plastering all walls and homebond book says I need cavity trays to catch any water penetrating down cavity. Trays alone will set me back circa €2000. Any alternatives? Are they critical given will be plastering the walls?

A stepped DPC will probably get you out of most situations. Must be done before the blockwork though. alternatively lead flashings depending on the situation.
