supine hip circles? they make you do that in ya undies, oh my god, my thighs will block out the daylight in the room if they have me doing caper like that:eek: last med i did (a while ago, when they still did the pca!) they made me stand on each leg to test my balance etc... sounds like a flippin yoga class to me!

Aye. Theyre thorough. I was flummoxed half the time with a confused look on my face but theyre really nice and make you feel at ease. Youll be just grand. Dont be nervous. Its all for a reason they do it. Go into it relaxed and youll be fine. Dont get yourself worked up over it. Its your experience and youll do the best you can. Thats a cert. Dont get stressed at all. Youve passed all the worst bits....:)

    hehe ;)

Ahh PYG it is not streneous at all. You just lay on your back whilst the doc puts your leg at 90 degrees and tests your hip joint by rotating your femur around in your hip socket. It is actually relaxing, unless your a guy and your marbles fall out of your loose fitting boxers....:)

    hello all!

wow, supine hip circles, smt?, hair removal, rubber gloves??!

I did a medical for the psni back in July/August 06. Things must have changed because back then there was none of what ive read on this thread
Whats all this talk about taking hair out your head? what?

All we done, was put a gown on, get your joints tested, weighed measured etc all the usuals, eyes/ears/lungs/urine test and that was that.

    Wonder when things changed...

Oh but long story short, i passed... got in, left, now im trying to get back in lol..:(

Why'd you leave? If its not too personal a question!!

Why'd you leave? If its not too personal a question!!

No, not too personal, I dont wana get anyone angry for changing the subject so I will be short and sweet lol

I think I was just overwhelmed with everything. I had just turned 21, felt about 18. Never been away from home, never mind sharing a box with someone for 4 weeks + lol. From the mountain of books given to me, shoveling my dinner into me in 5 minutes while the drill staff stood looking over us waiting to the greenhouse they call the accomodation block (it was a very warm April07). I just whimped out :(... I didnt give it a chance, and when i decided to leave I didnt plan on it, i just did it...Im a stupid boy, i know...

Were you on this forum back then too? I think I remember you. Just so you know, you'll still have to stay in the kennels for 4 weeks, the mountain of books is just the same, and the food is still as delicious.

PYG and PSM were up yesterday, all went well for them both as far as I can gather, three no shows by all accounts so hope that might bode well for me. You never know!

PYg sends her congrats, her computer is sick and away being fixed at the mo so she's off the radar. I warned her abut that internet porn....
