I have to say that I am saddened that a poster has been taken to task for posting in Irish rather than for the content of the post, which was utter drivel.

He may be a troll and and shyte stirrer but to demand that he post in English is just wrong.

Effectively he was banned for questioning on thread an indefensible demand to post in English only. Not just at all IMHO

The OP appeared to be banned for off topic posting and his attitude not specifically because he posted in Irish. He nailed himself to the language persecution cross to get some attention.

Also, as I and other posters have already pointed out, it was a thread in PI posted in English. PI is a forum for giving advice to the OP not for general discussion and as such the poster should have at a minimum made an effort to post an English translation too.

In any event the lolcats have decended now so the OP is getting the level of attention his strop deserves.

The OP was probably handed a justifiable ban. However there would probably be a lot of less complaints if it wasn't for the high handed, smartarse, self important and smug way in which the bans are handed out by some of the mods who think they are virtual deities.
