blacknight for me?

    Hi I want to host a website using java, specifically JSP's and I want to be able to use mySql database with the site, is this possible with blacknight solutions?? if so which package would best suit me

    sorry about the noob questions, fairly new to hosting

    You'd need to have a look at one of our VPS plans if you want to use Tomcat / JSP: http://www.blacknightvps.com/

    Thanks, will the basic vps package allow me to use Oracle XE??

    if not what are my database options with this package?

    You can certainly try, though we won't support it :)

    You can install mysql, postgres or any other database engine you are comfortable with.

    On the windows vps you can install MS SQL Express 2005
