Can anyone recommend a good satellite provider? I'm going to be on the road for the next 12 months and will need it in Nepal, China and other parts of Asia as well as Australia and New Zealand.

    Thanks!

possibly Inmarsat BGAN is the only mobile option with data. Not cheap.

Conventional Satellite Internet is fixed using 75cm to 2.5m dish depending on location and typically only covers one country or several neighbours.

Iridium is I think only phones.

Other oprerators don't cover the range of places you need.
