Helped the Germans blow some of their budget surplus in exchange for scadloads of Irish pubs and a sackful of trad musicians?

Allowed Spanish and French fishermen fish in our waters.

and some would have you believe more revenue has been pulled from our waters than we ever received from the EU.

I know that is'nt true but it is true that the main reason Norway is not in the EU is because they dont want those vultures stealing their fish.

Anyone hear David McWilliams on Saturday Night With Miriam?

We've allowed THOUSANDS of Eastern Europeans here (as we should have, I welcome them- more in common with them than our TDs!) and France/Germany have made every effort to restrict their own EU-immigration.

We got a referendum, and now we're told we should be ashamed for how we voted...Is this Soviet Russia or something? Why were the options not just Yes and Tá at this rate.

SHAME ON YOU ALL FOR TICKING THE WRONG BOX, YOU SELFISH,GREEDY LITTLE GREEN PEOPLE.

    Jim Corr is that you?

No, Jim Corr is off trying to tell people how the Yanks brought down the Twin Towers and are going to take over the moon.

It's actually supposed to be an impression of Merkel and Sarko going down O' Connell Street yelling out the back of a Limo with a megaphone

We've apparently gone and took part in democracy, just not 'the right way' and now we're being reminded of how Europe has brought us trucks full of cash, peace (people are honestly claiming this), and eternal happiness.

Next time, you'll be able to tick Tá or Yes.....
The eh...'people' of Europe depend on it. You know, the half a billion people with no opinion on the Treaty.

just because the EU has given us a load of money in years gone by doesn't mean we should give them more control over our country

the much feared 2-tier europe probably isn't such a bad idea, Germany and france can move on along their way to creating their own superstate without being held up by small annoying countries like Ireland that still want to do things their own way without accepting gratuitous amounts of new laws from this new fangled Yurop thing.
