livemetallica setlists for the past few weeks look great, all classics but no new material by the looks of it, unless they have been edited from the final mix

Wow that tune sounds much much better with better quality sound.

I was listenin to it a bit last week and wasnt overly madd about it. its a grower though and Im glad that soundboard vid is up!

my first impression of 'cyanide' wasn't great but i must've listened to it about 50 times now and i love it. the chorus is infectious,so much so that i'm singing it in work without realising aparently.:P

they played it again in arras,france last night,i think it may feature in the last few euro dates,looking forward to hearing it next wednesday. just hope they don't drop it to play 'whiskey':eek:

I'm still very unsure. Still find it a bit disjointed. Loses all momentum right after the first chorus, when the drum/bass thing re-starts. Nothing brilliant, but could be a whole lot worse!

I have lost faith in this band years ago, although I still never tire of the old albums. I've also never been a big fan of Rick Rubin either, he tends to make bands sound more simple and stripped down which in my book is not good. 'Electric' by The Cult was a pretty boring and way too simple album for my tastes, thank god for the 'Sonic Temple' album.

i've been trying to not get too over excited by the new album but the more i hear from it the more i can't wait to hear it. that vid was deadly as was the riff that was posted. looking forward to hearing the single as it'll be the first studio track we hear(as against cyanide being live.).

Pretty relentless stuff from Het at 0:26 to 0:28! Roll on the album.

No matter how good the album is, we'll still hear endless moaning from the 1983 to 1988 crew.:rolleyes:

zane lowes show on BBC radio 1 between 7-9 on thursday. no doubt it'll be ripped and online a few minutes after it's played.;)

Motorbreath is a song Id love to hear opening a Metallica show! Unfortunately because its not as well known as say 'Creeping Death' or 'Battery' itll prob always be on the back burner set opener wise.
