Hey all,

Looks as if the rejection letters are being sent out.... hubby got one today, post date yesterday.... he ain't too bothered, never even rang up about his score, is more concerned with mine! Hope not too many boardsies have these dropping thru their letter boxes!

Ah, thanks. He says he ain't too bothered, hmmm not so sure about that one, he always insists he is the brains of the outfit! He never actually go any vetting forms either so his merit score mustn't have been low enough. Oh well, he likes the job he is in anyway:P, he's just glad that am still in the running.... well at least I am for now!

I got my rejection letter as well today. Not bothered about it and glad it was me and not Fo. My merit place was 890-900 and no r/c so if your around that you could be for the chop! :eek:
Hope PSNI don't keep you all waiting for too long, i just gotta put up with the whole waiting process now from Fo.

Just been watching the news... what's everyone thoughts/opinions on use of Taser Guns?

Personally I'd rather hit someone with a taser shot than a live round.... :eek:

Go to 'policecouldyou'. They show all the english and welsh forces and who are recruiting at the mo.

For scottish forces type in to your search box s'cottish police forces' and it should bring up a list.

Well my brother applied last october and started end of March, there are quite a few parts to the recruitment process, well worth it though, he is loving it!

thanks for the info. i just asked for an app. pack from the tayside police,

thing that is a bit of a draw back is that i from the r.o.i and alot of uk police want you to live n the uk for 3 years.
