Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Rainwater Harvesting

I Have a question which relates to putting in a rainwater harvesting system into a new build.

In normal houses, from my basic knowledge, lead is used for the valeys and flashing.

Is this safe to use in a rainwater harvesting system?

Are there other options other than lead than can be used?

This topic has been covered very recently on this forum where the long answer can be found: the short answer is that unless the water lodges on the lead, there is really no issue, prolly more lead in the air:)

By any chance do you a link to that topic?

There are quite a few topics on this through out the forums - just want to make sure that the one you mentioned above is the same one

    Thanks

I would be inclined to ignore that comment if for no other reason than the content of his/hers other 2 posts which are verging on trolling.

Keeks Im not up to speed on this matter myself but Im sure there are others here who will give you good advice here.
