    whayy im getting better im getting used to the grappling now. its getting harder for people to get me in locks as i get faster and im starting to be able to apply some locks myself...

    grading 14th april...Nationals 18th-19th april...and ive been handed 2 huge projects in work due for completion on...17th april...i must be bloddy nuts....

    Maybe this is why im single:p

    Nationals

    :( im not going to be attending nationals. just went to book the friday before hand off to make the 5.5 hr trek up to belfast. My manager has refused. There is some major network upgrade work going on that week part of the prep if me being sent to london the week before..so i would miss my last week of training and be left with the option of travelling to belfast very late friday night or god forbid saturday morning and this just doesnt appeal to me.

    These projects are a great opp for me in my career and i have to give them my 100% focus over everything else....

    with this news i think im going to step back from the power lifting style training and do some BB style training for a while my weight loss is going well and id like to give some different training a go.

    Oh and on this note anyone wanna recommend a BB style trainig cycle that i can give a bash at for 6-8 weeks....

    That sucks man. I suppose being busy with work is something a lot of people would kill for at the moment so the way I see it I can't complain if work gets in the way either.

    I picked up a knock on my lower back last tuesday( missed a break fall from a double leg take down)...which i though was fine till i deadlifted yesterday...my back was in agony!!!!!! im gonna take a few weeks rest so dont expect much from the log except low weight sessions like above

    For your own peace of mind dude you should have your back looked at. I don't know if you know any medical professional that you trust, but if not find someone who comes recommended and have them look at it. might be something simple like kev's non firing glutes, might be something more, but I unfortunately know that you don't want to leave a dodgy back to get worse. just my own opinion.

    That's the Russian way of doing things...

    Think about it this way....

    He did the weight by 8 reps, 3 times.

    Instead of usual 3 sets of 8 reps.

    stupid work...ive been on call since last monday meant to train friday was working all friday night and over 20 hours across saturday and sunday so no training done...im gonna squat later on though

    91.5kg this morning and 20% BF on the callipers...
