    Hi everyone,
Not everyone was able to go last week so the meeting was changed to this Monday (13th), 8pm @ reidys wine vault.

We'll be discussing 1984 by George Orwell so if you havent been to a meeting before but have read this book already it might be a good time to join in :)

I'd have to do a bit of revision. Think I wrote a few notes alright. Many at the last one?

Numbers are dwindling :( 5 of us at last one but people have been busy with going back to college, holidays etc so hopefully it'll pick up again. I was looking forward to cosy book club meetings in the winter!

You are very welcome to pop into the club anytime UpCork! Next meeting is 5th January & we're being festive and discussing Dicken's A Christmas Carol. We will probably go with something more modern next time as we've had a few oldies.

    Yes boy,

    Hi all,

I moved to Cork a few months ago and my social life is like -0 (I work from home, it doesnt help).

Can I still join you guys for the Feb meeting?

I was a member of a book club in France (my native country) ages ago
I am a translator, so I am more than passionate about books and words

    Just let me know.
    Thanks,
    NatWW
