gang stuff.. see that kind of thing on most venue doors that i go to...

not that they tend to enforce it that well...

Looks good- and looks like Paddy is looking after this. He's sound!

And as it's only down the road from me, I'm definitely going!

I was kinda thinking colours could = sinn féin stuff; tricolours with Tiocfaidh ár lá and such. (sorry for anyone I've offended, I'm all for patriotism, but Sinn Féin and the IRA have just ruined some branches of it for me).

well, tattoos do tend to attract a lot of gangs and stuff... i've mentioned my whitepower inked up mate before, he's ex-verydodgygang. seen a lot of it around here too, especially at the expo. probably just standard internatoinal tattoo expo rules, i'd imagine.

    Alan, read the freakin banner.
No patchs or colours i.e no-one will be admitted who is openly saying they are affiliated to a certain gang whether it be bikers or whatever.
for further clarification just because its you!

Nothing saying 'hell's angels' nothing giving off a vibe that you are a gang member, further examples like bandanas with gang logos etc. Normal clothes, whatever you would wear normally. jeans, tshirt, whatever. nothing which may affiliate you with a gang.

further more, heres a picture cos im sure you like looking at them... here's a game of called spot the gang member

The reason they put that up as there was some trouble between two rival biker groups at one of the last conventions.

Davey Will was replying to this bit, where you (after being told what it meant) if your hells angel "sort" friend would be allowed in.

Hence Will explaining it in a way that can't be taken the wrong way.

I was S P E L L I N G it out for you Alan so it could only be comprehended one way. Common sense... *bashes head off wall*

There are two sorts of motorbike clubs- those with a backpatch and those without. The "regular" clubs have their patches on their chests or arms and are usually just groups of friends with common interests.
The backpatch clubs have, as the name suggests a large logo on the back of their leathers. Examples in Ireland are The Vikings, the Outlaws and now the Hells Angels are setting up a chapter. They are more akin to criminal gangs and often have feuds
