    Girlfriends car was broken into here last night. Smashed window with a rock wrapped in cloth. Stupidly left alot of things in the car on show and was most definate a random car to be picked as its the first time she has left it here.

    Anybody know if this is happening often in Dun Laoghaire, chances of gettings names? Usual story with the Gardai, can't do anything.

    Sorry to hear of your trouble, thing is, it happens pretty much anywhere people are daft enough to leave things on show. Sorry to sound ruthless, but that's a fact of modern urban life I'm afraid.

    Little bastards need a good hiding though.
