    Ive attached the question and solution, im on part b trying to find the surface b i cant understand what they have done to get it, is it a tangent to the arc or something?
    any help would be great, thanks guys


    OH i think i might have it, but i might need correction, at the apex of b on elev you draw a 45degree cone, draw this on plan, the ridge of b is now tangent to this cone?
