Eircom email problem - anyone else?

    Can anyone who has an Eircom email account try this...

    Send a test email to a non-existant Irish domain e.g. joe@yabadabadoo.ie

    It doesn't bounce back with Error 550!!

    At first I suspected our email server in work until I looked at the SMTP logs and noticed that the Eircom server replied receipient OK.
    So I checked my personal home email Eircom account via Outlook, same thing and finally I used their webmail and guess what? same thing. Emails appear to be getting lost in space if addressed incorrectly. More worrying is, some of our staff have replied to emails with valid addresses only to find they have never been recieved when they resend they reach their destination but theres no failure error.

    Anyone notice the same problem??
