CompTIA Study Guide

I have access to both the CompTia A+ Complete Study Guide by Quentin Docter and CompTIA for dummies. I would probably prefer the Dummies book but want to know which one to study. Is the dummies book made for the purposes of passing the exam or just information on computers?
