    This Sunday (22nd June) Galway Model Car Club will host round 2 of the Irish 1:8 Off Road Buggy Nationals at their track at Mother Hubbards Oranmore so if you live in the area and want to see what RC Buggy racing is all about you should drop by.

    Thanks to everyone for coming down to Galway. Sorry for the wasted journey, I think everybody home and away was disappointed, it's the first time we've been rained off since the off-road track opened at Easter. This weekend four supermarkets in Galway were forced to close due to flooding by the heavy rain, several people were sent to hospital with hypothermia at a stadium concert, unfortunately we had to make the decision to cancel the race as there was a large risk of damaging the electrics in the cars but more so it would have been extremely hazardous to marshalls. Hopefully, we will see as many of you as possible at the rescheduled date of 20th July, regards Darren
