Greystones has made it to number two of the top ten cleanest places in Ireland. The litter figures are produced by Irish Business Against Litter an alliance of companies sharing a belief that continued economic prosperity - notably in the areas of tourism, food and direct foreign investment - is contingent on a clean, litter-free environment.

    Good news.

The town may have come second for the cleanest town, but has anyone seen the south beach from the kiddies park down towards the driving range..??
Seams to be a huge amount of broken glass amonst other litter along that stretch.

    Shame really....:(

In fairness, I saw some people on Mill Road yesterday evening doing a bit of clean up work... so fair play to them - you should be proud.

Us Charleslandians should give ourselves a pat on the back for paying our management fees which in turn pays for the cleaning/maintaining of the estate and southern access route :p
