Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I've a lot of XP machines on a 2003 network that have the default option to automatically restart when they encounter an error enabled (why Microsoft make this the default on even servers is beyond me!!:confused:)

Short of going around to each PC individually and disabling it in System properties, is there a way do do this using Group Policy on the server? I've searched online and all I can see is references to disabling Windows Updates auto-reboot feature which is not what I'm after.

    Thanks in advance...

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\CrashControl

above is the reg key, perhaps a startup script that sets the value you want?

better yet you could create a custom .adm file with the above registry file turning it on or off.

not promising anything but if you dig out the value you want ill create an ADM for you, testing its all yours though :)
