Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,

Just a quick question about updating your kernel.
If i am downloading a newer kernel from www.kernel.org there are a few different types of files.
This seems to be the Latest
    linux-2.6.9.tar.gz 44435 KB 18/10/2004 00:00:00
    And then there are Patches
    patch-2.6.25.bz2 9258 KB 17/04/2008 03:15:00

Do i need to install the 2.6.9 version first and then update the patch?
I have no problems installing the newer kernel its just a matter of what file?

    Ed
