I'd been planning on buying a 2006 Subaru Forester 2.5XT auto in the UK, it would have ended up costing me €24,500 landed. Went into Castle Subaru in Bray yesterday, it turns out they're having a big push to clear out the last of the run-out model before July 1st when they go to 36% VRT/€2,000 road tax. That's the thing about buying a Forester, you only get two choices. Too slow or too fast.;)
