Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    I don't understand this at all, Spain don't need to win tonight, the player probably aren't even arsed with the match.

    Alonso cracks the post with a ferocious shot from 30 yards out.

    Spain, while they are taking it easy, are also looking to preserve their unbeaten record this year and extend their winning run to 9, which would an all time record for them.

    They look a bit toothless up front without Torres and Villa though, and could do with some leadership from a certain someone from Madrid. Injury to one of their two strikers could spell disaster.

    Odds wise it made sense, and the Greek defense had looked hapless in the other two games.

    Guiza. Quite fortunate actually. Ball was wiped in and his marker slipped, put a bullet header on it to send it past the keeper.

    I know I have a bias, but Spain deserved the win for all the chances they created. However, this performance illustrates that if Villa or Torres has an off day or gets injured, they could well be fooked. Alot of they're play reminded me of Arsenal in 2006/2007 where they would try and walk the ball innto the net, and were severely lacking a clinical frontman.

    Deserved 2-1. Spanish reserves totally outplaying the former European Champions in the second half.

    Oddly enough everything is going my way so far in this tournament...

    3 out of 3 for Spain and Holland

    the French, the Greeks, the Swiss and the Austrians eliminated

    Turkey's amazing comeback

    Germany not winning their group and Portugal winning theirs.

    And Russia winning tonight.

    Portugal v Spain final por favor!
