Past Exam Papers - Contract Law - UCC

    Does anyone have or know where I can get access to past Contract Law exam papers set by Prof. Hedley in Cork? He's the contract law examiner for the Kings Inns Entrance Exam. Its a new paper (therefore no past papers) and whilst the inns have put up one sample paper on their website I wanted to see his past exams in the area.

    In general does anyone know what he's like as an examiner - i.e. hard marker, any fav topics, etc?

    Hi Lawgirl,
    Steve's marking system reflected his lecturing style; you get exactly what it says on the tin. His notes were compartmentalised, short, organised, and all on blackboard. If you know a current student they might agree to give you the link and their password.
    I think his marking was fair. There were no tricks or traps in his questions. All he wanted was evidence that you put the work in by reading up the cases and a bit of related analysis from reputable sources. He is very internet savvy so avoid reliance on googled articles, not that this is a smart approach in any case! His own book was an obvious one to have read. I studied a moderate amount, slightly under-performed on exam day and still got a 2H2.

    HI All

    Can anybody help me to find past contract law papers from UCC, set by Prof Hedley. I am doing the Kings Inns entrance exam, and need to try to get a handle on his style, favourite topics etc....
