Just so people don't keep annoying me. :)

    1. Website change means it can't detect updates.
    2. Icon will disappear on Firefox 3.

There is an update in the works. ETA is based on a number of factors.

Hobbes, I'm on FF3 and it's still there (the icon I mean).

Just so as you don't chase down an issue you may not need to.

    +1, all's good in firefox3 land.

The issue in FF3 occurs depending on the number of plugins you have in the status bar and if you initiate a download. It causes the icon to vanish (but plugin will still work between seperators).

    Currently outstanding.
    - Json interface code (Cult is handling that).
    - Themes (competition going on in the digital design forum).
    - Code is almost a total rewrite from scratch so requires some testing before release.

Overall though plugin development in FF3 got a lot easier. You can actually preview your XUL files by launching them in FF3.

The icon format has changed, you no longer use the chrome folder.

The icon format has changed, you no longer use the chrome folder.

That isn't actually true. The issue was that the location I was placing the icon was being overwritten by another process. Also had to up the timeout to give the code time for the UI to render.

    You can check status here.

OK This version does not check for subs/new messages but everything else should work. I am still waiting for Cult. But if people want to try you can download from here.

    https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/7787

As it is in the sandbox you need to create a mozilla account on that site to download.

Ok I have a working pre-release up now.

Please note that it is subject to change. So while it works fine, if your not sure don't use it.

Some things you will notice straight away.
    - It is much much faster (uses less bandwidth as well).
    - You have themes (see prefs).
    - You have toolbar buttons you can add (subjec to change).

Any comments on it should be directed to the thread linked above. Thanks.
