    I've got some moulds for garden ornaments and i was wondering whats the best sand/cement mix for outside use.Also if anybody knows any tricks for making cincrete look like stone.

    2 parts sharp sand to 1 part cement.
    Make sure that you wet the inside of the mould first.
    This helps the mix cover the mould surface.
    You need a thick & creamy, yet 'pourable' texture.
    Too watery though & the concrete will be prone to cracking.

    degsy what type of moulds have you? Im thinking of putting up some stuff in my garden and looling for ideas
