iPhone - can you monitor usage?

    Hi,

    I want to get the iPhone 3G and was just wondering is it possible to monitor your data usage or possibly block it when you reach the 1gig limit?

    Under Settings it will show how much data you've sent and received. No option to set a limit on it though, unless they are adding it in v2.0 of the software.

    Will that specifcally show 3G usage or will WiFi get mixed in? Can it also show text and voice usage?

    It will just show 3G.
    Nothing for showing text messages.
    Phone usage has a lifetime call time usage and call time usage since you last charged it.

    These can all be reset.
