how can dells quoted laptop option be without monitor?

    ive just been looking at the dell site and seen that the vostro laptop i was looking at came without monitor. how can this be

    It's just a guess, but sometimes people use laptops with an ordinary monitor. ie. a cable running from laptop to a flatpanel. Dell probably bundle these monitors in some of there packages. You still get a screen in your laptop, just not a monitor.

    it means no External/Secondary monitor. You still get the laptop screen.
