    Hey man

They really are great aren't they? I would love to get my hands on the old WWF Intercontinental Title (Razor Ramon/Shawn Michaels) and the original (and so much better) United States Title from WCW (DDP/Goldberg). The titles they have now really are crap.

ebay is your best bet, the american dollar is so weak now its a great time to buy stuff from the states, i have 3 (and no i aint selling them)

Its just Ive had some bad experiences with ebay in terms of delivery. Anyway the ad is under general wanted on adverts if anyone is selling. I also have an ad under discs wanted (There was no No vhs wanted) for wcw videos that were only available through mail order (94-98)

    Put it in your sig.

Yeah they're great. Got my first one only a week ago. ECW Heavyweight belt! Got it signed by Raven and Balls Mahoney so I won't be selling it but they're definitely worth the money.

Also if buying from the US you'll more than likely get hit with customs which would cancel out any savings you would have made. Just bear that in mind.

I'll most likely be selling my Undisputed belt in the next few weeks. I might throw it up in adverts during the week.

just a general enquiry. How much would any of you guys pay for a wwe championship belt(undistputed title) that is signed by chris jericho and kurt angle??

    If your selling it €200;););)

  • Registered Users Posts: 416 ✭✭Whiplash

haha well no i'm not selling. its not mine its my best friends. lucky ****er. if he was selling i'd say he'd want the 300 he paid for the belt and then some!!

No matter what merchandise you're selling in the wrestling universe, having a signature on it hugely decreases the value, unless you have either an official WWE certificate of authenticity of photographic proof. Otherwise, as i said, it just damages the value.

As for belts, you can pick them up for a good price (average about €250 shipped) on wrestling world:

    http://www.wrestlingworld.co.uk/replica-wrestling-belts---adult-size-588-c.asp

Wrestling Mania in dublin want €320, and the Wrestling Shop in artane want €350 for regular belts.

My advice to you is to never, ever buy a second hand adult replica belt. Ever.

To do such a thing is a sin. Unless the belt is literally bought, hung on the wall and never touched (which is very rare) you'll have nothing but hassle. The strap splits with use (I have the Current IC belt about 3 years now, and the strap is busted on it. Its not in bad shape as such. It happens all belts that have been handled enough, but its enough that i'd never buy a used belt. Any damage thats done to my belts is done by me. My head would be wrecked looking over a belt to see if there's any damage and noticing little scratches etc.).

Plus the diamonds fall out on them every now and again too, and most people lose them once they do fall out (happened to me) so you have to deal with that too.

Additionally, if someone around dublin (or within a decent proximity - louth or meath, etc.) is selling a belt, chances are they got ripped off in one of the shops and when selling their belt, they'd like to get back at least some kinda decent price.

Why pay X amount if you can get the belt brand new for a little more?

Its up to you, but i'd highly recommend buying new. I'm sure Kane-n-nite can also recommend wrestlingworld along with dez_warlock (i believe he got his from wrestlingworld also?). I know I'd highly recommend them.

If you don't know what to get, here are some pictures of some of the belts. I know it can be tough to get decent pictures of them on the web, so this may help:

    http://loosejakks.proboards54.com/index.cgi?board=adultreplicabeltsboard&page=1

Also, never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever..... Buy ANYTHING from WWEEuroshop's catalogue. EVER!

    Their prices are insane!

And as has been mentioned, Don't buy from outside the UK/Europe (America) because customs will rape you.

I'm looking to get a replica belt as a present for someone, either the rated r spinner belt or the world heavyweight one, where's the best place to buy one, wrestlingworld.co.uk or wwe.com?

If you buy off WWE directly, you deserve to be shot.

wrestlingworld if you're in Europe and Replica Wrestling Belts if you're in the US.

    So i'd advise wrestlingworld :)

I'll let KKV answer that question in detail, but I think deluxe are made with real leather or something.

As minto said, with a deluxe belt you get 'real' leather. None of the leather you ever get is real. its all simulated to some extent, but the deluxe leather is just not as 'stiff' as the adult belt.

To be totally honest, I wouldnt bother my ass going for a deluxe belt unless you have a reason to, or just have nothing better to do with the money. I mean, sure, you'll carry it about the house for a little while, show it to your friends, etc. but after a little while the novelty will wear off and it will end up on a shelf or hanging from your wall.

Adult belts have a simulated leather/plasticy ridge on the top and bottom of the straps, this tends to break up after a while (as the belt is moved more) but its barely noticeable. I don't think you'll have that problem with the deluxe one.

If you want to spend a lot of money, id advise an ultra deluxe belt (they have 4 milimetre thick plates as opposed to two milimetre thick plates that the adult and regular deluxe have) but i dont think you can get either spinner in ultra deluxe form (as the plates are "3D" and pretty thick as it is anyway.

So yeah, in short, i'd go for the adult belt. For €200 shipped, you really can't go wrong (i didnt even know it was that cheap). Wrestlingmania in dublin will sell it to you for €480, and WWE.com will want your kidneys.

    **edit**

Also, i'd contact wrestlingworld and ask if they plan on having any kinda sale anytime soon. They had a 10% off all orders over £40 sale recently, during which i snapped up the US Spinner belt. They probably either wont reply, or will tell you they wont be having one, but it does no harm to ask, and it could poentially save you €20. :)

anyone have any problems with the delivery company for wrestlingworld.co.uk? the tracking website seems to show it going from the warehouse to the delivery van and back to the warehouse again, rang today to see what the story was and was told it was out for delivery and would have it by 7pm today, yet it never arrived.

I wouldn't waste my time with tracking numbers to be honest. It'll arrive three working days after you order it. You should get it tomorrow (assuming you ordered on monday evening/tuesday morning?). I got mine at about 1:30pm.

Sorry for digging this out mods could do with the voice of any experience,
Looking at buying a belt from WWE shop.
I'm looking at the US and Euroshop websites,
US shop you have the cost of the belt, shipping and customs charges,
Euroshop you have the cost of the belt and shipping, Do you get stung by An Post for vat on delivery of the belt??
Its expensive enough so have to justify the spend but don't want to get caught out for extra at the end.
    Cheers.

Don't ever buy ultra deluxe replicas. The plates are thicker but, the plate stamping is the same depth as the 2mm replica plates, and with the 4mm ultra deluxe the plates are harder to curve. Older replicas are ridiculous looking when they're flat as pancakes.

I have a spare very good condition deluxe, WWF logo'd Winged Eagle that I'd be willing to sell if anyone else is interested. There's also a releathered, Swarovski restoned v2 Undisputed but, the leather guy did a bad job on the paint removal on the plates and they have tarnished in some places and I need to take a look at them.
