    Howdy,

Just wondering how you go about exporting your car from Ireland to the North or the UK? The import process in the North seems straight forward, but do you have to send some sort of document to the authorities in the Republic so they aren't chasing after you thinking you still need to pay road tax and NCT the car?

I know when importing from the North into the south you send a part of the V5 book to the DVLNI. I'm just wondering if there is something similar you do in the republic.
