Has anyone used a Halifax ATM card in Japan?

I have a Halifax Visa debit card, according to their website it can be used in 27 million locations worldwide. I am wondering has anyone experience using the Halifax card in Japanese ATMs? It is not the standard ATM card shape, it is curved at two corners and it has a visa logo on the front of the card but no logo on the back. Do you think I'll have any hassle using the card in Japan?

Shape will not be a problem.

It works off the Visa system, not the Halifax system, so it should be fine.

Once the ATm has a VISA symbol on it, you should be able to use the card!

I thought it was the Halifax credit card that was oddly shaped?
