There aren't traits that I make deal breakers, every guy has his own good and bad things but what appeals to me most is masculinity! I can't stand metrosexuals... I'm the girl, I know this is old fashioned and all that but I dunno, a guy should be a guy... God I sound ridiculous but I know what I mean haha

Brains. That's the only deal breaker for me. I went out with this guy for a few weeks who was sweet but a bit slow and it made my skin crawl.

I like men who are interested in the world and what happens around them e.g likes to go and do things like museums/films that aren't full of explosions/theatre and reads books and newspapers and has a lot to say for themselves.

That's how I got together with my OH. I wasn't interested in him sexually but thought he was a really interesting person with a lot to say fpr himself and I wanted to get to know him better as a friend. Things grew from there.

Question for the ladies: Do you actively look for these attributes or are they just "wouldnt it be nice..."?

When I see a girl or am chatting to one, I dont have ANY sort of mental checklist. It's all subconscious/chemical/whatnot, if I like someone I just *do*, i cant explain it better than that

Very true...

I think the list is a wish list, sometimes you meet someon who just doesn't fit your ideal criteria but the chemistry is overwhelming.

Well I do have three that I would have never given up on, that they are very intelligent, funny and kind. I know that it could never work out in the short/long term without those things and my head would over rule my heart over it.
