    Hi

Just wondering does anyone here know of anybody that makes up or drops mooring around cork.
I have gotten permission from the port of cork to drop one in aghada, but need to either get one made up and dropped in for me, or else if i have to will make it and need someone to drop it in the water for me...

rang one guy and he quoted €700 !!

    cheers

    Hey,

I don't know who can drop a mooring for you, and I'd be interested if you could tell me who you found in the end.
Also, and more importantly, I'm having trouble finding a way of planning for permission to drop a mooring. Who in the Port of Cork were you on to, or is there an application form somewhere that I'm not seeing.

    Thanks,
    James

Dropped one in passage 2 years ago and it cost €650. Don't have the number of the fella but got his number from the lads in the harbour commisioners. €700 sounds about right to me.

You were lucky to get permision for Aghada. I was told 2 years ago that the harbour was full and my only option was Passage up towards Rochestown. Not Ideal, I'm right next to the channel.

You could always just drop down to the pier by Murphys in East ferry, Crosshaven Pier etc.... piers are always full of experts!

Edit: Just saw the date of OP!!!!
