Dad has also had while I have been about .....

Opel Record Berlina - 747 HHI - dad hated it
BMW 733i - IZW 919 - A tree hit us ! I'd would be dead writing this if we'd have been in anything smaller.
    Audi 90 quattro - Agi 600 - Trouble with capital T
Merc 190 Carb model - 3 weeks that lasted. I will guess at ISO 140 reg.
    Merc 190E - SI 1416 (i think) - nice car
BMW 520i auto - 88D23158 I think bought ex demo from frank keane (BMW Ireland)
BMW 320i coupe - 92TS xxx - he loved it and so he should
Ford Cougar - 99TSxxx loved this too - compromised but good
    Merc 200CLK - 03Dxxx - likes it - suits him now he's 82

While Dad had all them there was so many other cars knocking about I couldn't remember them all. Mostly small Fiats - at least 5 127 sports or GT's some which made it down the forest stages and some which didn't ! :p
Uno's Renault 5's and there is a Pug 106 thats taken dogs abuse for years now thats a family favorite and is considered like an old dog about the place its referred to with such fondness.

Cartell says I am right about the 190e rego and the Audi gave so much trouble its now a diesel !

    Some nice motors there!

It's cool that your Dad is driving a CLK at 82!

My Dad is in his late 70's and when he bought his current car about 3 years ago he said it would probably be his last. It's a '00 BMW 728i and he loves it. He finds reversing a chore though (bad neck) so the parking sensors it has certainly help with that. He will probably downsize a bit next time though
