Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Anybody know if there has ever been any concerts in Ireland of game music? I know it's pretty big in the US and Japan (obviously :) ). I know its mainly FF music played but it would be deadly to hear those old classics like from The Last Ninja (C64) done live with a big ass orchestra. Maybe I'm just being an old nerd :)

Don't think there has ever been one, I for one would jump at the chance at seeing something like this. The closest place that does have them from time to time is London. Heading there to see one is probably your best bet

You're probably right. Would probably have to do a few shows to make it profitable enough to make the trip. Don't know how many shows they could sell out over here. Ah well.

No orchestral concerts that I know of but according to a friend of mine The Advantage played in Dublin sometime last year. They are a "california 8 BIT nintendo band--serious dudes that rock with good nintentions" so they do covers of NES games rather than C64. http://theadvantageband.com/

If it's covers of C64 music you want, check out http://www.pressplayontape.com/ they're Europe based so might do Ireland at some point.
