Well Spongey and jayhaitch2 were active yesterday so with a bit of luck we won't have much hold-ups for the forseeable future.

Yep, and I'm down at no 20 for the first round so am really struggling to think of any megastars that will still be available by then.

I know I picked a tag team but in my imagination I think I'd use Dynamite and Davey as singles wrestlers who occassionaly tag up. Not that it matters!

I had figured by the time it got to me in 9th, I'd struggle to get one of my top singles picks so I was planning on a different tag team. I think its a good strategy if you get the right team.

24 hours is an eternity in the world of Fantasy WWE drafts:)

Its hard to get a good tag team where one hasnt been a world champion and are both good singles wrestlers. I had them in mind but didnt think they would go so early

I suppose as it's your roster it's up to you how you use your wrestler. For example if you wanted Gregory Helms but didn't want his Hurricane persona then that's your call.

Very interesting and odd picks so far i must say though.

Andre never entered my head, sadly. A tag team as a first pick is crazy! Although an amazing team at that. Shawn was an obvious choice but a great one at the same time.

For alot of their career they were single wrestlers too. Just pointing it out as people tend to dismiss tag teams today. Yes they were a great tag team at a time when being a tag team meant something but on their own, particularly in Dyamite Kid's case he was equally just as great.

The rule was that neither member could be a world singles champion. Bulldog never won a world title and he wasn't as big a singles star as many others

2 points, I'm just playing by the rules as layed out. I shouldn't be penalised for that. Secondly, if you think the British Bulldog is the primary strength of my pick you need to type Dynamite Kid into youtube or read my my post.

And it's not like picking the Hart Foundation at all from a rules point of view or from a wrestling point of view either. The Anvil was not Dynamite Kid.

No, Im just saying that think when the majority think of the british bulldog they think of his singles career.

Say i want to pick the team of Mr A and Mr B. both insanely popular guys, but Mr A was a world champion in another promotion (ECW, WCW, etc) does it still count as a team as he never won a world title within the WWE universe?

I think that would technically be allowed yes. As long as they were an established tag team in WWE.
