Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    can anyone recommend a company in the cork/munster area to externally insulate a house???

    Any reputable insured building contractor can price for the works, as there is usually more than one trade involved, preparing walls, damp proofing, securing insulants, expanded metals, plastering/rendering - all for traditional block/stone builds. Totally different for timberframes or timber finish.

    Always ask to see the contractors current insurances and C2 certificate and previous works.

    I would advise you contact a suitable professional (Architectural Technician) in your area to aid in preparing drawings, specifications and contract. They will also be able to guide you on likely costs and suitable contractors.

    As far as I know there are only 2 systems that have an IAB cert in this country so be careful with who you get to tender. I'll PM you the names
