buying a monitor

i wouldnt be very technically savvy but im in the market for a fairly cheap monitor ,the pc does'nt get a whloe lot of use so dont want to spend too much.i saw this one on dabs.ie i know very little is this a good deal or can anyone recommend something else.not too fussy wot size screen/type it is

That look's as good a deal as any. But you say your PC isn't used a lot?? If that's the case just confirm it can take that monitor. Just post here what GFX card you have in it and tell you if you're good to go or not. Other than that that's a good deal. I've a 22inch myself and it makes all the difference.

as i said the pc wont get much use but its working off an ancient 17" CRT and cud do with an upgrade

Ah you're good to go so man. That's as good a deal as you'll get for what you're looking for. And with the 22inch monitor you may find yourself using that PC more than you had anticipated!! Enjoy...
