Something trivial for you to think about.

You know, cars that you think are stylish and cool even though they may not be worth a lot.

    I'll start...

All previous generation Saab 9-3's and 900's

To me they are classless, ageless, stylish and cool.

You could be a millionaire or a pauper and still drive one.

E34 BMW's get my vote. A car launched in 1988, 20 years later it still looks sharp and fantastically proportioned, one of BMW's best ever efforts.

Peasant - I would agree on all but the 406.

Don't get me wrong - its probably one of the best looking mass produced cars ever and is a really nice drive too, but is it classy and timeless ?

    I'm not sure.

It's still a bit fresh, at the moment it's just getting "old" but it might still make the step up to classy. Time will tell, I guess.

you know I think your right - its just too new yet

not that it really matters, this is purely perception after all.
most people would just look at the reg plate and decide !

Early '80s Saab 900 Turbo is the biz alright. Classy yet not oestentatious.

Any car NOT owned by a footballer or a rapper.

    My short list would include:

    Forgot these:

    TR6

    Or this Giulia Sprint GT:

You could pull up to anywhere in either of these cars and look the biz.

I have got to disagree here - it might still look fresh but this never looked classey, and today they have a shocking scanger image imo.

Not if left totally original the car has a bit of a cult following among the boy racer lads who just love to make nice looking cars look awful with oversized body kits shocking alloy wheels and even stickers  but an original one in mint condition looks really well and the 2.0L Mivec drives excellently :)

An FTO is a lot of things but it's not classy. It's the Jeremy Clarkson test - if you pulled up outside Kristin Scott Thomas' house in an FTO there is no way she'd go out with you!

    Timeless and classy cars:

    (better in a dark colour)

    Ahh so many great cars!

I think we are spilling over into classics now.

What about the stuff that though perceived as junk because they ain't 08 reg still are admired by you for some reason.
