Just a bit of confusion here:

One way flight: Amsterdam - Belfast:
    Taxes and Charges
    51.66

Return flight Amsterdam - Belfast - Belfast - Amsterdam
    Taxes and Charges
    77.97

Shouldn't the one way flight taxs fees and charges be around 35 euro and not 51 ?

Bearing in mind this is excluding the Credit card charge and baggage fees etc.

All charges are seperate depending on which airport you depart from.

UK departure tax is very high (Belfast) whereas Dutch departure tax is low (Amsterdam).

Yep - seems schipol is about £40 and Belfast is about £20.

Its the London Airports that have the high charges including a landing charge! - London city is worse of all.

Don't forget that when you exit a UK airport you pay government tax on top of the airport charges.

It would help if the airlines actually had an information page about what the different taxes and charges are, would make it more transparent. Instead you have to try each option and then find out and honestly I don't really trust that it's all what they say it is

If belfast is 20 pounds Landing fee then how is it 51 Euro from Amsterdam to Belfast ??????

Schiphol always been one of the dearer airports in Europe to fly from, taxwise.

Are you flying into BFS (International Airport) or BHD (City Airport)? Taxes are different depending on which you're flying from/to. Also taxes change all the time and depend on a number of factors. Two of these (that apply to you) are:- the date when you bought your ticket and the date you actually fly. Here's a short break down for your trip:

    AMS BFS:
4 departure taxes (out of AMS)
    1 arrival tax (into BFS)

    BFS AMS:
1 departure tax (out of BFS)
No arrivel taxes into AMS (into AMS)

Hopefully the above makes sense. :)
