Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Following on from a thread about the new Bourne demo can anyone say which demos on live are of good quality?

Ironman isnt bad with a right bit to do available to the player in a non-linear way

Pro Evo 2008 is great if you don't have a copy of pro about although it's only 1 player and only 6 teams are available (Brazil, Argentina, Turkey, England, Spain & France I think)

Civilisation Revolution is a great little demo with 2 races playable.

Can't really remember playing too many others except Condemned 2 which I felt wasn't as good as the original.

Far Cry is great for some quick deathmatch action.
Bioshock demo is superb if you've never played it.

Agree with Crackdown - actually had more fun with the demo than the game, as I feel the demo gets a lot of the great gameplay mechanics across without any of the repetition and annoying combat of the full thing.

Bioshock was an amazing demo prior to playing the game. Released at the perfect time, giving you the entire amazing opening to the game (probably the most jaw dropping sequence of this generation so far) and a good taster of the combat. Everything a demo should be.

Also liked the Japanese Eternal Sonata demo - gives you a sample of the amazing graphics and interesting combat system. Just picked up the game yesterday on the stength of it.

Yeah GRID is a decent demo, like the online mode.

Cheers, already got BioShock and I adore it but I think Il try the Crackdown demo.
Downloaded Ninja Gaiden 2 demo aswell but still haven't played it, loved the original but I hear this one is a slight dissapointment, I'l soon find out. Still can't stop playing Cod4.
