Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I have a Nad 320 amp running through a pair of Mission M74 floor standers.
I have to say its not too easy to listen to and so is left collecting dust in spare room. Don't get me wrong ,I love music and listen all the time to a small Sony set-up in living room.
I like rock music Rory Gallagher,Thin Lizzy etc and also quieter stuff like Joni Mitchell, also.
My question is what lets the side down most amp or speakers?
I listened to a pair of Kef iQ5s through a Nad amp in Peats today and they sound pretty good only thing is they are really out of my budget right now.

Maybe a different amp might tame the Missions a bit?

    Anyway any suggestions welcome.

Mission speakers are inherently bright and quite shrill. They seem impressive in a shop as they jump out and slap the music in your face but obviously that gets fatiguing when you want to listen at home. Your amp is fine, probably better at taming those speakers than most amps would be. Have a look at Wharfedales, they might be cheaper (I'm guessing) and they have a more civilised sound.
